Розробка уроку

                                                       "Good and bad habits"

Тема уроку:Good and bad habits in eating”
Цілі уроку:
Навчальні:
-      формувати лексичні навички по темі
-      Формувати навички читання з метою пошуку конкретної інформації,
-      формувати вміння говорити на основі прочитаного,
-формувати навички аудіювання та навчити здогадуватися про значення незнайомих слів з контексту.
Освітні:
-      ознайомити із корисними та шкідливими звичками вживання їжі за кордоном, дати визначення про найбільш корисні продукти харчування.
Розвиваючі:
-      розвивати вміння встановлювати логічні зв' язки,
-      розвивати вміння висловлювати свою точку зору.!
Виховна:
формувати відповідальне ставлення до свого здоров' я.
Обладнання:
Наглядний матеріал, роздатковий матеріал, мультимедійна презентація.
                       Хід уроку.

1.     Організаційний момент.
Teacher: Му dear guests and friends! Today is already the 14 th of December. It is winter, it is cold but I see you are well and happy because you prefer to follow good habits. I know that Dasha and Lena like dancing, Yulia and Zhenya take part in sport competitions and Sasha and Yaroslav do morning exercises but they like to eat fast food.
And we are going to deal with the very important problem - good and bad habits, because the unit is called “ Healthy Eating habits”.
2.      Фонетична і мовна зарядка.
Teacher: There are two groups of pupils in our form today and two beautiful trees here. The leaves on the first tree are green. This tree is alive and symbolized good or healthy habits. The other tree is nearly dead, it shows bad habits.
-      Please, choose the cards with good or bad habits , hang them on this or that tree and give arguments for them.
Pupils say how they understand these habits.
Teacher: What habits did we discuss last week?
(pupils say)
-      Yes, we spoke about drinking alcohol, smoking, sleeping less or more.
What is the theme of our lesson today?
You are right. It is “ Healthy habits in eating”.
Look at the board. There are our aim and plan of the lesson on it.
1.     To learn and train new words.
2.      To read the text and try to speak.
3.      To listen to the text by British Council.
4.      To do the tasks on the text.

4. Now please, take the sheets with the text. Look at the text’s headline “ Junk food”, and guess whether these sentences are true (T) or false (F).
1.     Eating junk food is a great passion of people.
2.      A lot of people have ever enjoyed a hamburger.
3.    The American habit of eating popcorn at the movies is not well- known.
4.      Junk food is rich in vitamins and minerals.
5.      Junk food has poor nutrition and that’s why is unhealthy.
6.      Junk food doesn’t cause diseases.
7.      Junk food is attractive. Keys: T, T, F, F, T, F, T.
5. Teacher: I see you know some information about unhealthy food. Let’s read the text. While reading match the headlines with paragraphs. One headline is to be left.

Now your task is to present the food you like to eat more and often.
     8.     Учні захищають свої презентації.

9.    Well done. Now let’s have a short rest before doing another kind of work. Here on the table you can see plates with two different kinds of food. I want one group write an ode to pizza and other group write an ode to apple.
10.                     Now, before listening to the text by British Council try to write the new words I'll dictate you.
-        sponge cake
-        whipped cream
-        jelly
-        hundreds and thousands
-        custard
11.  O’K, check the words. Have you any mistakes?
Another task is -guess the meaning of the words reading the definitions.

look at the picture of Food Pyramid and try to remember what you need to eat during a day to be healthy .
13    Home task.
Teacher. So thank you very much for your work, Your homework is
-        to write a menu for a day using the knowledge of five basic types food a person should eat. Don’t forget about vitamins and minerals.
-        Give arguments for choosing the dishes.
